2.资格

2.1。参加比赛并有资格获得奖品,您必须是在校学生(包含中学生、专科本科学生、研究生、博士)以及毕业两年内的大学生。要获得该奖项,需要提供学生身份证明。如果无法提供此类证明,则参赛者将被取消参赛资格,并将奖品授予下一位符合要求的参赛者。
2.2。参赛作品应为作者拥有完全版权、并由作者自己独自完成的作品。除了提供基本的一般指导外,不允许学校工作人员或其他专业人士提供帮助。不允许使用学校提供的场景,用作教学内容的场景以及不是学生原创的场景。被发现违反这些标准的场景将被取消比赛资格。
2.3。必须使用 V-Ray 或 Corona 在任何可用平台上通过试用或任何其他合法获得的许可证来渲染提交的作品。可从以下网址免费下载V-Ray和Corona的试用许可证:https://www.chaosgroup.com/download-free-trials 和 https://corona-renderer.com/download

3.奖项与评选条件

3.1。第一名将根据主办方全权酌情决定的专家评审团的评分直接选出。
3.2。其他入围作品将根据以下标准进行评分:作品的原创性,造型,纹理,技术难度,光线,情绪以及主题表达的整体方法和作品的影响。
3.3。第二名与第三名:由评审团选择的最多10张图像将发布在主办方的官方微信公众号平台(V-RayStation)上,所有相关方均可免费投票。最终名次由评审团和观众评审构成,权重比为官方评审团60%,观众投票40%
3.4。评审计分原则:
评审团评委共10人,每人10分,对作品打分,满分100分。权重占比60%。
公共投票,每人一票,单选。以公共投票的最高票数作为满分100分计算。权重占比40%。

获得评审团评分80分,公共投票得票210票,最高票为420票
因此,小明同学作品得分为:
80*0.6+210/420*0.4=68分

4.2。奖品不得转让或兑换成现金。

5.获奖者通知

5.1。主办方将尝试通过电子邮件、微信等联系方式与每个选定的获胜者,入围选手,参赛者联系。
5.2。获奖者将有一个月的时间领取他们的奖金。如果获奖者在通知或公告后的 30 天内仍未与主办方联系,以领取奖品,则将导致奖品被没收,主办方可以提名另一名获奖者。
5.3。被发现不符合本协议的任何获奖者将被取消参赛资格并丧失奖品,并且由主办方自行决定,可以选择一名替代参赛者,直到所选参赛者符合本条款中概述的所有资格并被宣布为获奖者。因选定参赛者个人原因,导致联系失败,则主办方与主办方均不承担任何责任。
5.4。获奖者不得要求将奖品更换为其他替代品。特殊情况下,主办方保留用替代奖品代替奖品的权力。
5.5。奖品需要由获奖者本人领取并使用。不得以任何形式或其他方式转让给任何第三方。如发生上述情况,则主办方有权中止获奖者使用权。
5.6。参与比赛获得奖品的任何税款,需由获奖者承担。
5.7。比赛获奖者,参与任何活动时,不得以任何方式损害主办方的声誉。参赛者拥有参赛作品的版权,但主办方有权行使参赛作品署名权以外的其他版权权利。

6.保证

6.1。您承认并同意:
(1)您具有与竞赛相关的提交、开发和使用您的内容/艺术品的必要权利;
(2)您的内容/艺术品不会侵犯或盗用任何第三方的任何知识产权或专有权,也不会违反任何适用的法律,法规或规章;
(3)您的内容/艺术品不受任何适用法律,法规或法规的披露,转让,下载,出口或再出口的任何限制
(4)您提供的与您注册或参加比赛有关的任何信息都具有真实性,准确性和完整性。并且您将定期维护和更新此类信息。
6.2。因盗用他人作品参加比赛,而产生的法律纠纷,应由参赛选手自行承担。主办方不承担任何法律责任。

7.一般规则

7.1。提交即表示您同意,主办方可以将您提交的信息(在网站上)完全用于推广宣传目的。
7.2。作为授予奖项的条件,获奖者授予主办方使用其全名(名字和姓氏),图像和肖像进行宣传和促销目的的权利,而不受地域,时间或使用的限制,包括但不限于线上宣传,除非法律禁止,否则不另行通知或另行通知。
7.3。对于提交给其他比赛或先前公开发布的作品没有任何限制。

7.9。参加本竞赛,每个参赛者都同意主办方收集,使用和披露以下个人信息:全名(名字和姓氏),提交的参赛信息和联系信息(联系方式,电子邮件等)以管理本竞赛,包括但不限于宣布获奖者以及授予和提供奖品。与比赛无关的任何商业或其他通讯都不会发送给参赛者,除非他们另外同意接收此类通讯。
7.10。本竞赛最终解释权归主办方所有。


OFFICIAL RULES OF 2020 V-RAY STATION CHALLENGE STUDENT RENDERING CHALLENGE:
YOUR SOURCE OF INSPIRATION

These official rules (“Terms”) are a legal agreement between V-Ray Station and You. You agree to these Terms on behalf of yourself as an individual (in either case, “You”). You represent and warrant that You have the right, authority and capacity to act on behalf of and bind yourself. If you do not have the right, authority or capacity to legally bind You to these Terms, You do not have the right to participate in the Contest.

1. SUBMISSION DEADLINES / IMPORTANT DATES

Call for submissions: June 1 – August 1, 2020

Judging Round: August 2 – 8, 2020

Nominees Announced: August 9, 2020

Public Vote Round: August 10 – 16, 2020

Winners Announced Online: August 17, 2020

2. ELIGIBILITY

2.1. To enter the contest and be eligible for winning a Prize you must be a student (including middle school students, junior college students, undergraduate students, graduate students, doctors) and graduates within two years. To receive the Prize, a proof of student status will be required. In case such proof cannot be provided, the contestant will be disqualified, and the Prize will be granted to the next qualified contestant.

2.2. Submitted artwork created by students must have been completed entirely by them. No assistance from school staff or other professionals is allowed other than providing basic general guidance. Scenes provided by the school, scenes that are used as part of a teaching, and scenes that are not an original creation of the student are not allowed. Scenes found to be in violation of these criteria will be disqualified.

2.3. Submitted works must be rendered with V-Ray or Corona on any available platform by using a trial or any other legitimately acquired license. Trial licenses for V-Ray and Corona are available for free download at: https://www.chaosgroup.com/download-free-trials and https://corona-renderer.com/download.

2.4. You may submit no more than one image to the following E-mail address: vraystation@gmail.com. Scenes must not be watermarked with recognizable personal and company logos or names.

2.5. Once a scene has been submitted to the Contest, you may not submit it again in case of subsequent edition(s).

2.6. Non-eligible participants: members of the various boards of the organizer, managers, directors, associates, consultants or agents, employees, officers, and their close relatives. “Close relatives" shall include but is not limited to spouse, partner, child, sibling, as well as any other individual which lives in the same domestic alliance with any of the above. Non-eligible are any citizens of countries which do not allow and recognize for some reason the Contest. Non-eligible participants will be disqualified. If by way of misrepresentation they have won the Prize, they will be required to return it.

3. CATEGORIES AND WINNER SELECTION

3.1. Champion will be selected based on scoring performed by a panel of expert judges selected by the Organizer upon its sole discretion.

3.2. Other shortlisted submissions will be scored on the following criteria inter alia: originality of the composition, modeling, texturing, technical difficulty, lighting, mood and overall approach to the presentation of the subject matter and impact of the work.

3.3. First runner up and second runner-up: up to 10 images selected by the jury will be posted on the official WeChat Account Platform (V-Ray Station) and a free voting will be made available to all interested parties. The winners will be selected through the judging committee and the audience, with a weight ratio of 60% of the official and 40% of the audience.

3.4. Principles for evaluating audit points:
There are 10 judges in the jury, each with 10 points, scoring the works with a perfect score of 100 points. The weight accounts for 60%.
Public vote, one vote per person, single choice. The maximum number of votes in public voting is calculated as 100 points. The weight accounts for 40%.

Examples:
David’s work received a score of 80 from the jury, 210 votes from public voting, and the highest public vote was 420.
Therefore, the score of David ‘s work is: 80 * 0.6 + 210/420 * 0.4 = 68 points.

4. PRIZES

4.1. The prizes awarded to each winner will be as follows:

4.2. Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable for cash.

4.3. If you choose a Corona license as a prize you will not be able to use Chaos Cloud credits due to technical reasons, and therefore you will not receive the credits, but only the Corona license.

4.4. The winner of the competition needs to provide a valid screenshot of the scene file and 《Online Verification Report of Student Record》from https://www.chsi.com.cn/ after the announcement of the competition results to ensure the validity of the award.

5. WINNER NOTIFICATION

5.1. Organizer will attempt to contact each selected winner, nominee, entrant by email and WeChat.

5.2. The winners will have one month in which to claim their prize. Failure to respond within this time period will result in forfeiture of the prize and organizer can nominate another winner, although the organizer will make reasonable efforts to contact the winner to ensure this does not happen.

5.3. Any winner found not in compliance with these Terms will be disqualified and will forfeit the Prize and, at the Organizer’s sole discretion, an alternate entrant may be selected until the selected entrant meets all the qualifications outlined in these Terms and can be declared a winner. The organizer will not be responsible for failed attempts to contact a selected entrant.

5.4. Winners may not request that the prizes be replaced with other alternatives. Under special circumstances, the Organizer reserves the right to substitute prizes for the prizes.

5.5. Prizes need to be collected and used by the winners themselves. It shall not be transferred to any third party in any form or other means. If this happens, the Organizer has the right to suspend the use of the winners.

5.6. Any taxes paid to participate in the competition to win prizes shall be borne by the winners.

5.7. Winner shall not detriment in any way the good name of the organizer. Contestants own the copyright of the entries, but the organizer has the right to exercise other copyright rights than the right to sign entries.

6. WARRANTIES

6.1. You acknowledge and agree that:

(1) You have created, and you have the requisite rights to submit, develop and use your Content/artwork in connection with the Contest;

(2) Your Content/artwork does not infringe or misappropriate any intellectual property or proprietary right of any third party or violate any applicable laws, rules or regulations;

(3) Your Content/artwork is not subject to any restriction on disclosure, transfer, download, export or re-export under any applicable law, rule or regulation.

(4) Any information You provide in connection with your registration for, or participation in, the contest is and shall remain true, accurate, and complete, and that you will maintain and update such information regularly.

6.2. Any legal disputes arising from misappropriating another’s work to participate in the competition shall be borne by the contestants themselves. The organizer assumes no responsibility.

7. GENERAL RULES

7.1. By submitting you agree that organizer and its affiliates may use your submission(s), fully credited, for promotional purposes on their websites and/or for marketing purposes. You will retain all copyrights to your work.

7.2. As a condition of awarding a Prize, winners grant to Organizer the right to use his/her full name (first and last), image and likeness for advertising, publicity, and promotional purposes without territorial, time or use limitations, including without limitation online announcements, without additional compensation or notice, unless prohibited by law.

7.3. There are no restrictions on submitting entries that have been submitted to other competitions or previously published in public.

7.4. By submitting to the Contest, you warrant that you have the IP rights or obtained permission to submit the works for public display.

7.5. By entering the Contest, entrants agree to abide by these Terms. The decisions of the Organizer and its appointed judges with respect to all aspects of the Contest are final and binding.

7.6. The Organizer assume no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure of contestants’ own reasons.

7.7. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT TO UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THIS CONTEST MAY BE A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, THE ORGANIZER RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES OR OTHER REMEDIES FROM ANY SUCH PERSON(S) RESPONSIBLE TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. Any attempt to circumvent any of the competition rules or voting systems will result in you being disqualified and permanently banned from all future contests.

7.8. The Organizer reserves the right at all times at its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Contest and these Terms, in whole or in part, in the event of any cause beyond the reasonable control of the Organizer that interferes with the proper conduct of the Contest as contemplated by these Terms, including, without limitation, any error, technical problem, computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failure, or any other cause.

7.9. By entering this Contest, each entrant consents to the collection, use, and disclosure, by the Organizer, of the following personal information: full name (first and last), submitted entry information, and contact information (telephone number, email address and so on) for the administration of this Contest, including, but not limited to, the announcement of winners and awarding and delivery of a Prize. No commercial or other communications unrelated to the Contest will be sent to entrants, unless they have otherwise agreed to receive such communications.

7.10. The final interpretation of this contest belongs to the organizer.
